Seattle photo historian extraordinaire Paul Dorpat presented an endearing and informative talk and slide show on iconic restaurateur and goofball promoter Ivar Haglund on Feb. 7, 2016, at the West Seattle Library.

The presentation, sponsored by the Southwest Seattle Historical Society and the Seattle Public Library, ran 90 minutes and was enjoyed by a capacity crowd of 70 heritage lovers from all over the city. You can see video of the complete presentation here:

After Paul’s talk, he came to our “Birthplace of Seattle” Log House Museum to view our exhibit on Ivar Haglund, “Keep Clam and Carry On.” There, he spoke further about Ivar, and you can see footage here:
