The Log House Museum, Husky Deli and Northwest Art & Frame are so excited to bring you a holiday gingerbread house contest!
Fill your senses with the smells of spice and gingerbread; spend quality time with family & friends and celebrate the spirit of creativity and imagination with the community.
Completed houses can be dropped off at Husky Deli between December 15th through December 29th. Judging will be held January 6th. Three catorgies—each with lovely prizes!

CONTEST RULES
The Log House Museum, Husky Deli and Northwest Art & Frame have teamed up together this holiday season for a community building experience! Bring in your completed creation on Dec. 15th through Dec. 29th 2016.
Judging Takes Place: January 6th, 2017 The 2017
Theme: “Our Wonderful West Seattle Communty.”
- There are three categories:
- Individual Child 12 & under
- Children’s Group 12 & under
- Individual or group over 12

Please provide a name for your project.

Gingerbread dough needs to be the basis for all “houses,” must be all edible decorations. Royal icing is encouraged because is hardens well.

Your “house” footprint (size of your base) is limited to a floor of 8.5” x 11”. It can be up to 11” height. Space may be tight this first year—we don’t know how many folks are going to participate. Depending on the number of entries, some entries may be put on display at another nearby wonderful venue (TBA)

Entries will be accepted from Friday, December 15th through Friday, December. 29, 2017.

The awards ceremony and distribution of prizes will be held on Saturday, January 6th 2018 at 1:00 pm. Entries will be kept on display through Saturday, January 13th. Please pick up your house no later than 5:00pm on Saturday, January 13th, 2017.
