Welcome Phil Frick and Keith Bacon!

The Southwest Seattle Historical Society is delighted to announce that Phil Frick and Keith Bacon have joined our Board of Trustees.

Phil was elected to the Historical Society’s Board of Trustees in February 2021. A long-time resident of West Seattle, Phil comes to the Historical Society with a background in commercial real estate. Phil also serves on the Board of the Admiral Neighborhood Association and as a hub captain for Seattle Disaster Emergency Response. Phil is a dedicated Historical Society volunteer, serving as a docent at the Log House Museum, on the Historical Society’s gala committee, and supporting outreach and fundraising efforts. Upon joining the Board of Trustees in February, Phil stated that he was eager to collaborate with “a great group of people who have history at heart.”

Keith Bacon was elected to the Historical Society’s Board of Trustees in March 2021. Keith is an independent copywriter, content creator, and creative consultant. He’s also producer/host of the All Ways West Seattle podcast where the people, places, happenings, and history of West Seattle intersect with thoughtful and engaging storytelling. Keith notes, “Partnering with the Southwest Seattle Historical Society to create content for my podcast has been a very enriching experience, for myself and my listeners. I look forward to getting more involved as a Board member to support the Society’s goals and efforts.”

The Historical Society is thrilled to welcome Phil and Keith to our team and grateful for their efforts to support our mission and community!
