Southwest Seattle Historical Society volunteer Brad Chrisman created this 51-minute video focusing on Nancy McPhee, a lifelong resident of the Fauntleroy neighborhood of West Seattle, in March 2014.
It is the first installment of a series called “Every Picture Tells a Story,” in which longtimers relate their memories while prompted by photographs of their own or from the collection of the historical society.
Because a portion of this installment deals with the Arbor Heights Pharmacy owned by Nancy and her husband, John, from 1951 to 1966, it is a part of the historical society’s “Telling Our Westside Stories: Work” exhibit at the organization’s Log House Museum, 3003 61st Ave. S.W.
