The Champagne Gala Brunch Committee is looking for a few volunteers who would enjoy working on one of our community’s most loved events. An established event that earns a 100% positive response to the question, “Would you recommend this event to others?”, the Gala is ready to take that success and add some fresh new ideas. The Gala Committee is a talented group of volunteers who appreciate and support the Historical Society’s mission to preserve and advocate for the unique heritage of the Duwamish Peninsula. One of our longest serving volunteers said recently, “When I was looking for community here in West Seattle, I decided to volunteer to work on the Gala. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I not only found wonderful friends, but I felt like was making a solid contribution to my community.”
The Committee meets once a month (the 3rd Thursday of the month) at the Senior Center of West Seattle, usually preceded by a happy hour at Shadowland!
