An Update on Reopening

Although Governor Inslee recently announced that museums are permitted to reopen during Phase 2 and 3 of the ‘Safe Start’ plan, the Southwest Seattle Historical Society will not be reopening the Log House Museum at this time as we continue to prioritize the health and safety of our community, staff, and volunteers. In recent months, the Historical Society has been delighted by the results of our efforts to engage and educate our audiences through digital programs and content. We will continue to prioritize digital programming in the weeks ahead as we do our part to control the community infection rate of COVID-19. We are looking forward to the day that it is appropriate for the Historical Society to reopen the Log House Museum and we will continue to keep you updated as we move forward with our plans. Thank you again for your ongoing support.
